CLAUSE REGARDING PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK
OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTICIC CONFERENCE:
HUMAN RIGHTS IN SOCIETIES NOT ONLY DEMOCRATIC

The personal data of the Conference Participants are protected in accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), we inform you that:

  1. The administrator of the personal data of the Participants of the International Conference is the University in Siedlce, represented by the Rector, based in Siedlce (08-110) at Konarskiego 2 Street.
  2. The correctness of the processing of personal data is supervised by the Data Protection Officer with whom you can contact by letter (IOD, ul. Konarskiego 2, 08-110 Siedlce) or via e-mail address: iod@uph.edu.pl.
  3. Your personal data are processed for the purpose of registering participation in the Conference online, communicating with participants for the purposes of contact in organizational matters, preparation of lists of participants, preparation of certificates, publication of informational materials about the conference, documenting its course, and, if you agree, for the purpose of sending informational and marketing materials in the future about scientific events organized by the University in Siedlce in the future.
  4. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(a) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27.04.2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal of the EU L 119, p. 1), hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"" in connection with the Act of December 9, 2019. Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2020, item 85) and the mission carried out by the university on its basis, which is to conduct scientific activities, shape civic attitudes, and participate in social development and the creation of an innovation-based economy.
  5. Your personal data will be stored for the period of implementation and settlement of the conference and, in the case of consent for information and marketing activities, until the withdrawal of this consent, as well as, in situations provided by law, may be processed for the period necessary to establish and pursue possible claims.
  6. Provision of data is voluntary, but necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
  7. Personal data provided by you will not be disclosed to other entities, except to those authorized by law.
  8. You have the right to access, rectify, restrict processing, object and delete data.
  9. You have the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
  10. No decisions will be made on the basis of your personal data that are based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
