Human Rights and Political Philosophy
Moderator: Lukasz Swiecicki
Panel description
[This panel will be conducted in English only. Those who register for active participation are requested to deliver speeches and presentations in English only] This panel will explore the relationship between human rights and political philosophy, with a focus on the conceptual, normative, and historical dimensions of rights in political thought. How are human rights philosophically grounded? Are they truly universal, or are they shaped by specific political contexts? We invite submissions that critically address the foundations, limitations, and implications of human rights from a variety of philosophical and theoretical standpoints.
